Curry flow 8 on feet10/12/2023 Since then, he put up huge numbers in them and led the Warriors to four straight wins. Steph first broke these out on NBA Media Day prior to the season. The Under Armour Curry 9 is the much-awaited next signature sneaker of perhaps the greatest shooter of all time. I've never got a pair good enough (1st: hole in the toe area, 2nd. I'm going on the lookout for the curry 8s as well (my first love of the curry brand). Reviews are saying the pg6s cushion bottoms out quickly, i guess they don't make them like they used to. Both shoes were supposed to replace my PG5s, great shoe but traction ran out of steam after less than a year of use. I already ordered some PG6s coming in, hoping that's a better experience. I'm going to attempt to go down the "defective" route because after 3 sessions the paint also started chip off on the shoe (northern lights version) :| Such a sad experience, because this was the first basketball shoe I decided to buy myself new and it turned out to have its own bucket of problems just like my usual used ones. Twisted my ankle twice, and even tweaked my knee somehow in my last competitive ball game so I have decided to return them. traction is great, cushion is also alright (not going to compare to kd14s). Just got them a week ago, I'm dealing with the tiniest bit of heel slippage which is weird because this should be my tts, i also got about a horizontal thumb sized amount of space in toe area. great job by UA on these, i hope they stay consistent. a great shoe for heavy-light guards and versatile wings, but bigs should steer clear due to a lack of heavy support. Overall, i sit the curry 10s at a very solid 9.3/10. if you enjoyed the 9s, you would love the 10s a lot. The 10s are basically a complete all round improvement on the 9s. my toe is pretty busted up from that, but it got better after i cranked up my laces, so thats something to note. overall, very comfortable shoe, even for casual wear. the cushion remains fresh through hours of wear, which i personally love. the padding in the achilles helps to hold the heel down really well, and the plastic bit in the lacing system helps to relieve midfoot lace pressure, which is a great change.Ĭomfort: the shoe is pretty well padded all around, with a pretty nicely cushioned heel and a slightly softer upper. the upper, Warp 2, is not stretchy at all, but conforms to the the foot really nicely and keeps the foot held down well. the forefoot is appropriately flexible, allowing comfortable flexion of the foot, but with sufficient rigidity to prevent the foot from twisting in the shoe. Support: the shank plate running through the midsole is slightly longer than the 9s, but you can’t really feel it. overall, the 10s are a direct upgrade from the 9s in terms of cushion. the current compound is soft and slightly thicker in the heel, and thinner in the forefoot, offering pretty good court feel. the compound is softer and much more forgiving than the 9s, which was pretty damn firm. ![]() however, if your court is well maintained, there should be absolutely no issues.Ĭushion: great improvement from the 9s. while its improved slightly from the past Flow models, the same sweat-spot issue still remains. if you step on a wet spot you will still slip though. Traction: the tread pattern has been slightly modified, offering greater surface contact and in turn much better grip. i’ve had some time to go play around in them, a couple hours indoors and outdoors respectively, so this is my completely honest review. Hello everyone! i promised this in a comment a while ago and now its time i provide.
